Global Turf Consulting provided construction
services for
Greg Norman's
first course in South Korea. Built in the spectacular
mountain setting of Gangwon-do province 100km east of Seoul, the bulk earthworks
stage moved 4.5 million cubic metres of rock to create this superb layout. The
demanding course had its soft opening early in 2004. Hanwha Corporation were
excited to see their project debut in the top 10 courses in the country when it
opened. US$60 million was spent to build the course alone.
