Global Turf Consulting was one of the first sponsors to offer
financial support to help the
development of junior cricket in northern Thailand at the Chiang Mai 6's in
April 2004.
The
Chiang Mai
Schools Cricket Alliance has been set up to introduce & teach
Thai
& other youngsters in the region about
this great game. With such enthusiasm that the kids have shown, more
schools & students are participating than ever in this exciting sport. A lack of funding is slowing the development, but Global Turf is
helping out by sponsoring another cricketer in 2005.
